What we do is speed scratch cooking.
The name says it all. By definition, speed scratch cooking blends ready-made components and fresh ingredients. The core of scratch cooking is the use of “basic ingredients”. And this means different things to different people, but we use the least processed and highest quality version of the ingredient that is practical and affordable. If we can make it ourselves, we do and if we find it can’t be done in house, we buy the highest quality product we can find. From smoking our own meat, making our own sauces and dressings we do our best to provide the best.

Linda Cheatham- Owner/Operator
Linda Cheatham established Stem & Stone with over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry. With the support of her family and her faith, she began her journey as a host with the ambition to go further in the industry ultimately reaching the position of Operations Director. Over the years her dedication and intense undying passion for providing the best in food, drink, and service has been unmistakable.
Whether she is working behind the bar, in the kitchen or on the floor with guests, her objective is to amaze every person, every time. With genuine Texas hospitality, her goal is to make Stem & Stone a place of taste and comfort to enjoy with family and friends.
Kathleen Cheatham Owner/Operations Manager
Along with her warm and personable touch, Kathleen Cheatham brings numerous talents to Stem & Stone.
She began her career as assistant to the Business Manager of a multi-million dollar restaurant. After a year she worked her way up to Business Manager but her desire to learn more about the workings of the restaurant industry led her to branch out. She went on to acquire skills in both Human Resources and Front of House Service.
Her love of the industry is only exceeded by the desire she has to bring joy to people. Her objective at Stem & Stone is that every guest realizes a unique and gratifying experience.
Craig Cheatham-Owner/Business Manager
Craig Cheatham began his journey into the industry when he was 15 years old.
That initial experience and the guiding hand of a strong mentor piqued his interest which led him to attend the Hilton College of Hotel Restaurant Management, focused on learning more about the ins and outs of the restaurant industry. He has held all positions over the course of his career.
From host, busboy, bartender, server, to dishwasher, Chef and General Manager. You will find Craig visiting with guests, laughing a great deal, and always focused on a great guest experience.
